Custom Wedding Album Design

We are pleased to announce the addition of a Custom Album Design Service here at Miller's.  This is a request we've heard frequently at conventions and the like, so we're excited about this new offering.

The design service will be available for all page sizes of the Assembled Albums we offer.  All you have to do is send us your files on a CD/DVD (to Pittsburg) and tell us what Album, what size and what number of pages you need.  It is that simple!

The service includes creating custom background pages, changing opacity, changing selected images to black & white or sepia, and album layout.  Upon completion, we will send you a proof via e-mail or CD for your approval.  You may request changes at no additional charge for the first two proofs sent.  The service will be available for only $6 per page and should be available within the next few days.  Of course, our normal retouching and digital art service are also available at their normal rates.

I would love to see this offered for the Press Books as well...

Think this will happen anytime soon?

Sean,

Thanks for the comment.  Just my opinion (haven't even asked anyone else here yet, but I will), but I would imagine it would depend greatly on the response for the album design version first.

Great idea!  We create these ourselves, but if you take it off our shoulders... heck I can go to my son's soccer games!

That sounds really great!! But I would like to see more cover options.  Not everyone only wants black or white.  Millers work is awesome and would be our lab for everything if the Album options were expanded.

I am so excited that you are now offering this design service.  Will I be able to "proog" the album design before it goes to print?

On that last post ... "proof"  not "proog" :)

Is there any way to view a sample design?

Heather, you'll certainly be able to proof the album design before it's printed.  We'll accept changes for "free" on the first two proofs sent.

Gina, I'm certain over time we'll have some sample designs available.  It will probably happen after we have some "inventory" built up, however.

If I use Miller's design service do I have to purchase the album through Miller's or can I just get the prints?   I have a customer that would like a Zookbinder's album.   I agree with the other comment, I would love to see Miller's offer more cover choices.  I love your work and customer service, but need more choices for the customer.

I agree with the previous posters requesting different cover options.  I really prefer the millers alnums over grafi studio and other places but they are not nearly as "flashy"  more color options or even a custom cover option would be great!

I am sure millers will do a great job with album design and I will use this service. But I think for my better customers I will take the time to do it my self.

Brides go with Black Albums . Just Black and White may help keep costs down

and this is most likely the market for the albums millers has.

Jim/TimberLane,

Sorry, I missed your question.  The design service can just be for design/prints only, not the album.  Will just want to double-check your planned album purchase with our size offerings to make sure everything will match up.

Hello. I am still looking for press book (wedding) album designers. Do you think that this may be something offered in 2008?  Thanks, Sean.

Sean,

The department that handles the album design can do custom projects as well, which is where press book design would fall at this time.  If interested, I encourage you to contact Carrie at , carriew@millerslab.com.

I too would like to see more cover options.  Any chance that the new addition will be housing a new album binding facility?

There are more cover options coming soon for albums and books (press).  Choices and time frame, TBA.   :)

Is there a place to see some of your sample design work?  Sounds like a great plan.... espec if you get more cover options - something with an image on the cover.

Hello! I am a graphic designer with a specialty in Professional Post Processing. I have several national & international clients. We offer many kinds of products and want to add leather bound albums to our  repertoire. I would like to see your pricing on just the print and bind.

Thanks!
