A quick reminder that we'll begin accepting entries for the Baby & Child Portrait Contest starting tomorrow, March 1. All customers will have an opportunity to help in the judging this year, so please read the details here.
Happy February 29!
I am wanting to enter the contest but I can't find any information regarding submission SIZE of the images? I'm assuming web sized images??
Yes, sized appropriately for the web is appropriate. Can certainly be larger than that, but not necessary.
Thanks, and good luck!
Jason
I was having trouble with the same thing - I am entering it as the same resolution for an 8x10, but when I review my entry it looks horrible, suffering from compression & artifacts. What should it be exactly - I must have it wrong
As Jennifer points out, our official recommendation is to size as you would when ordering an 8x10 print. (Sorry, was responding from home in the first one, with incomplete information.)
We had a small issue that was impacting some customers, causing the compression and artifact look you're referring to. If still noticeable, you can re-upload and should see an improvement. Finally, when displayed for voting, the images will be viewed significantly larger (so higher quality) than you see after upload, as we've had that question a couple of times as well.
Thanks to all,
Jason Becking
I thought mine looked bad too . . now I can't even find them . ..
We'd be happy to help you figure this out. Please email Customer Service at custserv@millerslab.com with your account number and problem, and we'll look into it.
Thanks!

Since I found no file size requirements until just now, I didn't format my entries for an 8x10 size. How can I view them to see if I need to resubmit?
