Hi Emily -

I'm glad you're happy with your LayFlat book.  We did not raise prices on any of the new products.  Were you possibly looking at the LayFlat Album pricing instead of the LayFlat Press Book pricing?

Thanks,

Julie

Oh my goodness ... yes. Sorry about that. I didn't know there was a different product for the album vs. book. Now that I'm looking at the write-ups, they look so similar. Can you tell me what the major differences are between the lay flat book and lay flat album (heavier pages?). THANKS AGAIN!

No problem at all.  The difference between the LayFlat Albums and Press Books is the paper.  LayFlat Albums are printed photographically on the same paper as our Flush Mount albums.  It does have a light-weight feel due to the binding process.  The LayFlat Press Books are printed on stock paper.  It is the heaviest hinged stock paper in the industry and high gloss can be added at no additional charge.  Other than the paper difference, book options are the same.

Thanks,

Julie
