• Oh Baby!

• Reviews Coming In - Miller's Remote Suite PLUS rocks

  We recently released a new version of our Remote Studio PLUS (blog entry on that here).  After only a few days, reviews have been fabulous. James M e-mailed saying: "Finest ordering software I have ever used.  I was a little taken back when I ran the program and saw it was updating again.  But after it installed and I used it, I was blown away.  Great job.  You make my job so easy."  Beckee B said:  "I LOVE the new format for ordering..... and I especially like the prices on the summary.  This helps so much when ordering." Mandy H said: "LOVE LOVE LOVE the new Remote Suite.  Makes this Mac user very happy! Thanks for all your hard work, you guys are the best!!"  The software is Mac & PC compatible and can be used to order any of the Final Prints products.  It will ultimately replace "Final Prints" in the Remote Studio software and in the Online Ordering software.  As such, any new products or updates will only be available in this new software. • 2009 Baby & Child Portrait Contest

  Miller's is once again sponsoring our Baby & Child Portrait Contest.  Entries will again be accepted in four different qualifying rounds, the first three weeks of March, April, May, and June. Miller's provides cash prizes to the families in the winning portraits. Contest entry and initial judging will again be online.  According to both the number of entries and the number of votes, that seemed to work wonderfully for both us and our customers last year.  Winners were selected from 10,648 entries with nearly 3 million (yes, million) votes cast. For help in marketing the contest in your community, visit the Marketing Materials section of the contest area.  We have some free downloads available plus instructions on how to receive discounted printing prices for any of these materials.  Contest rules and additional information is available here. • New to Miller's Remote Suite PLUS!

  You may have noticed a few changes to our Remote Suite PLUS Final Prints ordering application.  Yesterday, we released a newly redesigned interface for this PC and Mac compatible software, adding a couple of exciting features, including: Pricing - You now view pricing for prints and finishing services, as well as the total order balance within the Review tab. Image Rotation - Upload your images, then modify them as necessary while placing your order with our new image rotation functionality.  You can rotate each image in either the Import or Build tab. Cropping Tool - Just like the previous version of Remote Suite PLUS, our cropping tool allows you to apply multiple crops to a single image for various print sizes. Image Organization - Organize your images in specific groups so that you can easily find them when placing your order.  Adjust the thumbnail size of your images for optimum viewing. • Come See Us in Vegas!

  After making stops in Florida, Kentucky, Michigan, and Connecticut, the Miller’s Convention Team is looking forward to spending a few days in Vegas at WPPI.  Festivities for Miller’s officially begin on Monday, February 16th at the tradeshow – drop by to see us in booth #601!  We’ll be displaying all of our products, including new Album cover options and Impression Cases, as well as unveiling some new Fine Art products.  More information on the new Fine Art options will soon be posted at millerslab.com | What’s New. • Accordion Wallet Books -- 2009 Professional Photographer Magazine best new product!

  We are pleased to announce that our Accordion Wallet Books have been chose for a 2009 Hot One Award.  Hot One Awards are given by Professional Photographer magazine to the "best new products" for professional photographers each year. Accordion Wallet Books, available through Miller's Press, are not only a great addition to current Wedding, Children, and Senior portrait packages, but can also be used as a studio marketing piece.  They're offered in two sizes (3x3" and 2.5x3.5"), have 17 different colorful cover options, and 4 paper type options (Smooth Cover, Linen, Pearl, and Watercolor).  The books open to display either individual panel images or panoramic spreads. • New Stuff!

  We're excited to introduce new stuff!  All is now available in Miller's Remote Studio and will be coming soon to our Online Ordering Options. We now offer fully cusomizable Impression Cases for Proofs and Flush Mount Albums -- a fabulous way to present those products.   We've also added 11 new cover options for the Flush Mount Albums -- some additional acrylic cover options and 6 exotic leather options. For both Albums and Books, we've added new rectangular sizes.  4x5, 4x6, 6x9, 8x10, and 8x12 LayFlat Albums and Books are available.  Combine a Flush Mount Album with one of the new sizes for the Companion discount. Our Pic-A-Pac area now offers both Wall Clings and Ornaments.  The ornaments are also available through the Undergrad ordering option.
